You do realize that style point are necessary for us to make the playoffs, right? You do also realize that HH is still in contention for the Heisman trophy right?
Yes on number one. But I believe that Milton wouldn’t deter that if he played two or three series. We would still score against these final three with Milton running offense some. But, if he throws a pick, pull him.
No on number two. Georgia game crushed those hopes with the national spotlight on him and the media narrative of how poorly he and our offense played.

He will likely get (deservedly) invited to the ceremony and finish top 3 or 4, but I think him winning it is out of the question now, unfortunately.

If Stroud and Ohio St lose to Michigan, and he has a bad game, the Heisman is still on the table. Especially if Hooker has big time performances in the last 3 games.

If Ohio State loses to Michigan, that means that the Michigan RB will have had a big game and it will be his. It sucks.

Or Dugan at TCU or Bowers at UGA or someone somewhere.
And to be honest, as much as I love HH and what he’s done this year, I can’t honestly say he’s the best player in the country. Doesn’t have the best arm, takes too many sacks. However, doesn’t throw many picks and is a very strong leader with great character and he gives his all for Tennessee.

I believe that by the end of the season, you could rearrange our games and HH's performances to make for a Heisman season. It's not going to work out that way though.

If any of you that are going to the game, please look out for my son and help him. He’s a big man and will be on crutches. I tried to get him to let me pay for a shuttle ride for him and his family, but he won’t let me. So he’s walking 🙄. Damn kids don’t listen.

The Heisman rarely goes to the actual best player in the country. I never expected him to win, but also knew there was a very good chance he could if we beat UGA. This has more to do with optics. If he gets invited to the ceremony and can finish second, that's another recruiting feather in the cap.

My daughter and I made it to Knoxville. Took a little driving tour of campus since it is raining but she really wants to attend UTK. Ready to hand out a tail whooping to Misery tomorrow!
If you hear anyone yell "Glitch" at the game, it's just me.

Tennessee has won eight straight at Neyland, the longest streak since nine consecutive wins between 2006-08. ... Tennessee remains ranked in the top five for a fourth straight week for the first time since being ranked the first five weeks of the 2002 season.
