No it wasn't a rebuilding year

We had a team that could compete for championships

Coaches failed, players failed, injuries and awful officiating derailed it.

It's a failed season. All we've done is avoid utter disaster.

Well...unless we lose to Vandy

Hate it for the guy...I'll keep pulling for him...but he can't carry the team when needed like Hooker. Wish he had better play around him in games like this since he'll get a lot of hate when the defense was the major issue.

This team was absolutely not ready to compete for championships. I'm not sure why you though that heading into this season

Defense was on the field forever- Lots of turnovers, and when we had our chances several times, we shat the bed. There is no excuse like refs or cheating, this was just a really bad game for us.

It was a rebuilding year. Losing Hooker alone made it that. Add Hyatt, Tillman, Wright and a bunch of others. We didn't have anyone to step in their shoes.

I wouldn't call it a failed season. We'll win 8 games and go to a decent bowl.

Need to finish out this recruiting class and get nico ready for next year.

They keep Banks over there the defense will be just as pathetic next year.

Agree to disagree. It’s his responsibility to get them ready. Guess what? Butch did not step on the field either nor Pruitt. Should we have kept them. We are 7-3 and CJH has us in a better place but it is his fault just like it’s a CEO’s fault when the company doesn’t do well. He will figure this out long term and if not, then something will be done. I thought we would be 8-4 this year and that is where we are.
