This game was a defensive masterpiece by the Tennessee coaching staff, and we now have the players who can execute such a game plan.
We've been waiting for the defense to catch up with our offense. Well here we are!

Rumor I heard is that the entire defensive staff, except Gardner, spent the week hanging out at the lake. They didn't even bother coming to practices. Gardner ran the drills for every position group. Gardner scripted the gameplan. Gardner made the playcalls on Saturday. The other coaches we thought we saw on the sideline/pressbox were actually sophisticated AI generated holograms.

Thank goodness Gardner is so multifunctional. I wonder if he actually gets the salary of the other defensive coaches since he does their jobs?

Re-watching the game. With 8:40 left in the 3rd, McCall was 13/19 for 106 yards.

He finished the game 15/22 for 104 yards.
