What I don’t get is why is he not the guy playing closer to the box? Turrentine is way faster than him and should be the high safety but it’s Brooks more times than not. I know Banks likes them switching based on the look but it looks like Will is deep more than not. Maybe offenses are setting them up that way knowing they can attack them.

Fact is neither are burners and it shows up in our zone defenses

This year he needed to learn and develop and be a compliment to the offense, not the guy we rely on to win games for us.

Unfortunately Heupel didn’t have a top shelf O line in front of him or any top shelf WR’s to throw to.
They were suited for a Veteran QB that could win you tough games

The heart, grit, and competiveness has always been there. He just needs to mature a little. Throw it away and fight another day if it isn’t there. Multiple throws the first half could have easily been pics.
