DL got plenty of pressure with only 3 undersized and very inexperienced guys last season.

If OU's inexperienced OL holds off our pass rush and opens up big running lanes, then they were going to do it with or without Danny O'Brien playing.

And we're in for a long season. I think we'll be in the backfield often.

I've been going back and forth on this game for weeks. I really think it could go either way. Our struggles in the secondary have me leaning Oklahoma, 34-30. Hope like hell I'm wrong.

Load up on TheraFlu, EmergenC, Gatorade, hot tea, and vitamins. If you can get in to see your doc, throw in a steroid shot. You might feel like death afterwards, but that combo will get ya through the game.

This Big 12 BS air raid must be damn near indefensible. We're screwed. I doubt it, see their game against Clemson. I think we match up pretty near the same except now their O line is slaw. I think they play catch up all night.

Their offense is a completely new system this year, so the Clemson game doesn't matter.

It's interesting how OU switching to a new offensive system with a new QB and an inexperienced OL is just kinda brushed aside like it's a non-issue. If UT was going through the same changes, it would be THE reason why no one would pick us.

I hope we sit back in some zone and blow up some short routes. Their WRs don't have any size. I want them punished. I also think we can get Mayfield. He's not as athletic as he looks.

I just watched the first half of the OU/Akron game. OU's offense played like hot garbage for the first half. They got very little done on the ground and stopping the run is something we do well. Also, Akrons DL was in the OU backfield on almost every play. Our DL should be stuffed from eating so much tomorrow night. With WM back to make some corrections and helping out from the booth our D should look much better tomorrow.

Hurd and AK should have a pretty good game. OU will want to stack the box but we have plenty of weapons that if they try it they are gonna have to figure out a way to stop our redwood forrest of tall friggin WRs.

Also the announcers kept talking about how much faster OU was than Akron. Well they lose that advantage tomorrow. Neyland is gonna get in their heads and it is gonna be ugly for the sooners.

I'm adjusting my prediction:

I just can't pick a number for this one. And usually can. Tough to call. This game will show how the program is progressing. Expecting a great game. Want Hurd to knock Striker on his a**. Vols defense gets some turnovers and huge stops. Vols either 38 or 35. Sooners in the 20's.
