One guy out can make a huge difference...especially at Heards position.

Hope he and Campbell both are ready in two weeks...we are gonna need them.

Not a bash Davis and Johnson post..I love Dayne Davis, he is a great Volunteers story...and LJ is gonna be a freaking monster, he just isn't there yet.

Jermod McCoy made one of the smartest football plays I have ever seen on that offsides. He saw the DR (I think Pearce) jump into the neutral zone and immediately extended his arms and used both hands to make contact with the OK receiver as the ball was snapped to cause the whistle and keep OK from having a free play to take a shot. Watch the play if you get a chance.

Phenomenal awareness....McCoy is a HUGE addition and is a future NFL CB. His timing on coverage hits to separate the ball is elite, he has great speed and physicality and incredible instincts and football IQ. Best DB we have had in a long time

Our DL is stacked for the foreseeable future and I'm here for it. We have not seen many modern teams that were truly elite on both sides of the ball like what our Vols are building. Us and Texas are going to be powerhouses.

Tyree West is balling so far this year.

Pearce had half a sack. So there’s something. Shoulda had 1.5 but let the QB slip away again.

Moi and Jenkins played super well.

Shoutout to Bru. Almost 100 yards.

D Sampson almost hit a 100. Against a stacked box and creeping safeties all night. Impressive.

Bishop is just a flat out good #2. Possibly even ran the ball better than Sampson this game.

this is a great team. we havent hit stride offensively. Nico hasnt been unleashed yet.
still minimal called QB runs and read runs.

this team is a lot closer to being National Champ then they are to being a fringe playoff team.

Bingo!! Good seeing you, I4J! I kept begging for Nico to keep it on the read so many times! They were crashing from the edges so hard all night. We could have slowed that roll by letting him keep it some. He could have scored when he kept it on the first down that ended the game.

We are the most physical team in the SEC this year.

I can watch this game 5 more times.

I really want to know how a player like Jakobe Thomas ended up at middle Tennessee. My goodness he is a Missile.

Need some O-line improvement, Nico to continue to grow, and better O play calling. But a W on the road on a hot night in Norman with stout D is a W on the road on a hot night in Norman with stout D.

Even Sankey' s zebras and their stank cannot ruin things this season. Just play smart and beat both them and the opponents.

Get healthy Heard and Campbell. Bye week is coming at a great time.

O-line is the one position where we are lacking as a program right now. We are dangerously thin as we saw tonight and need both of these OT’s to be healthy for Bama and UGA. The current recruiting class appears to be addressing this problem but we need to stack a couple of classes like this before we are truly elite.

The current recruiting class appears to be addressing this problem but we need to stack a couple of classes like this before we are truly elite.

No. Crappy field conditions and a diminished OL. He is playing each game with the season in mind. What good is it to blow OU away if you get Nico, Sampson, or somebody else hurt on that piece of crap field?

Eh, officiating is something I tend not to get riled up about. The officials call what they want when they want. It is, what it is .

I don't know, I could see Heupel not wanting to run up the score like he usually does against other opponents. I mean he has a plethora of friends and teammates that called/texted him all week. Heup has got a big heart; I am fine if he wanted to keep the peace will people from OU as long as we got the win.

I mean I understand the sentiment, but Heupel is a competitive SOB. He wants to win and he doesn't care who is on the other side of the field. I heard him say we dialed it back in the second half but I think that had more to do with managing the team overall. This is the man that just had his team execute an onside kick against a far inferior opponent last week while we were up by 30 pts. The man is a killer. He wasn't going to take it easy on OU just because he still has friends there. That is a silly take.

Good morning winners! Man you know those OU players are going to wake up sore today. Our defense was delivering the punishment all night long. Big hit after big hit. This is our most physical, relentless Defense since 2001 IMO
