Is this necessary?

"Did he dial it back to not run it up on OU."

You: "That's what he said."

Everyone else: "No it's not."

Receipts are a wonderful thing, but the dude has already gaslit himself to thinking he didn't say that even though he typed it and we all read it.

I love our major VOLS coaches, and I love that the players love them so much too. Hope Kim Caldwell has the same success. I don't know when VOLS have been in such a good place in all areas.
Really makes me appreciative of our current situation. Its just plain fun. Enjoy watching all TN's teams compete in all sports.

The reason Coach went conservative was to run clock. He did the math. The best odds of winning that game was to keep the clock running.
It was frustrating to watch but I think its been so long since we’ve had a defense we can trust that it was nice to see a defense win us a game without even really bending that much

I keep hearing that this was the first win away from home since 2006 against a top 15 team. Okay, remember LSU in Death Valley 2022? Wasn't that a top 15 team? what about the Dobbs win against SC? These are two I can think of--plus all the bowl games (Is that a neutral field and not away from home?)

I think they mean at the time. LSU may have ended up top 15 but they were 25 at the time. And that SC team was definitely not top 15. Think they were like 4-4 at the time we played them

LSU was 16th.

USCe was not ranked when Vols played them in Columbia in any of the seasons Dobbs was here.

Neutral field isn’t considered away game for either team.

this team. this coach. WOW.

Sometimes it's the simple things--- shout out to whoever was able to post that locker room video of Heup addressing the team. It says everything you need to know to not question and just pull for our guys and coaching staff (listen to the players reactions, not just what Heup is saying). This is the first time in many many years that I feel like everything is in place and "right" with where our football program needs to be and the direction it is heading.

Last night I voiced my frustration at us clearly playing uber conservative in the second half because I knew we could run the score up if needed and really wanted to make a statement... we didn't, but I think the team in a weird way will be better for it hitting the remainder of the season based off that Heup speech.
We are truly lucky to have finally found the right coach. DO NOT LET THIS MAN GET AWAY AND KEEP HIM HERE FOR AS LONG AS HE WANTS.

GBO!!

I was thinking that Spurrier was in a good spot in the East then. He did have a team that finished at the top but maybe we didn't beat them that year or it was at our house.
