I can remember when then breaks didn’t go our way and we folded like a new lawn chair. I saw OUR kids kept fighting. No doubt defense kept us in this game. WHEN has that actually happened last? We all questioned last year if the defense would be able to keep up. Hell, I had my concerns.
That’s the way it works. When the offense is clicking and the defense has a bad game, they put them on their shoulders and vice versus.

Looking back there are some really good take aways from this game, we got pressure, we limited them on third down and we found a way to win a close ugly game. All things we didn't do very well last year, out improved greatly in this game.


Have a lot to break down and learn from but the season young, plenty of time to build. Enjoy the win, prorate for next week and tune up on both sides of the ball in prep for Florida.

Let’s!!!!! We can skip into that never never land together! I live in hope in only 2 games in this season and you do you.....recruit. It’s not too late buddy, you and your voters only have two games to go off of. Easy now, I’m holding a pen and my write in vote could change depending on your answer.

Okay I had to attend a wedding during this game and boy was it bloody stressful!!!!

We just needed to win that game anyway possible. This is a giant win. If we freaking lost that game it could have been disastrous.

As far as the sloppiness goes... not worried.

Last year we were sloppy and stupid in one game really....Pitt. and again it was ridiculous against them. It's just week two. We'll get better and we will probably never have special teams misques that bad ever again and we certainly won't only score 3 points in the second half again.

We won because of DEFENSE. Our offense will be fine, but we got pressure on the QB yall!

Now it's Florida week for two weeks!

This whole heartedly from a guy who returned kicks, punts and kickoffs.. it is better to let it go than to cost the team. He made a mistake but we prevailed... great learning experience

Did you expect them to look like UGA or did you expect them to get better ? Stat wise they are much better. They tackle, not saying they dont miss some cause they do. Yet we won against a good team on the road. We have growing to do. Play ball

And why didn't they have their QB in the 2nd half? He just decided he needed a break, or did we have something to do with that🤔? Also hobbled their 2nd QB.... Coincidence? And Hooker didn't have his best game and STILL threw for 325... It's not too shabby here in the kingdom...

Defense had GREAT pressure on Slovis and he looked concussed after that last tackle. Did they ever confirm why he didn’t return? I assumed he didn’t pass protocol.

Hooker seems off vs last year. There’s some time to fix it but it does need to be fixed if we’re going to take the next step.

I would say that beating a ranked opponent on the road is the next step!!

I am gonna enjoy this win!!! We haven’t had many like this in a long time..
