'22 Recruiting Forum: Official Pittsburgh Pregame/Game Thread

For who, everyone? I’ll agree. Second game for most of us, getting the kinks out, seeing who does what, either coaches or players. Cheer up, maybe they’ll be some point in the year that you can put the sack back over your head. There’s always next week. Miss that brown bag special.

Pitt is way overrated and didn’t have their QB in the 2nd half. We should have run away with that game. A win is a win but all is not well within the kingdom.

I think it’s too early. Josh and his team need 2-3 years before that starts happening because of how horrible this roster was when they got here. They played last year with 77 total scholarship players. And went 7-5. Is there something Huepel needs to work on? Absolutely. Is there something Banks needs to work on? Absolutely. The defense wasn’t horrible tonight (26 QB hurries). There are some DBs that need to be replaced, but I think there is a reason why they keep playing and not many people look at that.

Anyway, great win. Sloppy on O, but a win is a win and I’m excited!
5 years no matter what

His catch on 3rd and 9 and the effort to get that first down probably saved the game. Hendon overthrew him a few times tonight or he might have had 3 TDs. Guy is every bit as good as advertised.

My bad for some reason I thought that was a 4th down play but still what an effort.

The thing we should worry about most is whether or not Pitt figured out our offense and how to stop it. Our run game was atrocious. O is our strength and they got showed up by the defense tonight. That's not exactly a good thing.

The only thing I paid attention to your post is a win is a win. Other that that, I didn’t read. Is there a Election of the Negas this year? No worries, you have my vote even if it’s a write in. Prezz.

Did Texas show how to stop Bryce young? Gee whizz I guess bamas screwed now

In some ways, yeah, they did. They made Bama look much weaker than what everyone is used to. Pitt made our offense look much weaker than what everyone is used to. We had weaknesses highlighted tonight in our offense that other teams WILL use. This is obvious
