There was a higher likelihood of Jennings catching another Hail Mary than Aaron Medley making a kick 11 yards further than his career long.

I hope we lose another 3 or 4 to get him fired honestly. 9-3 does absolutely NOTHING for this program.

Get a winner in here asap.

This loss sucks and it makes me angry. I wanted to win the east but it also may cause Butch to at least entertain change which if we kept winning it wouldn't. This season despite wins and losses have taught me there are major deficiencies in our staff. Butch gets a year to fix them especially with a 9-3 season but if we kept winning maybe Butch stays stubborn Butch. If he stays stubborn Butch next year he gets replaced potentially. I hope he works it out. I love the players and support the Vols but Butch has to prove he is more then a transitional hire.

Butch will be here until people quit giving money, buying season tickets, and attending games. Whether that's next year, the year after, or whenever.

I have been 100% full Butch until this year. I've had serious questions since game one this year. I don't think Butch will ever win even a east championship here. Don't think it's not his makeup. It will be several years before there is a change though. Likely at least three more years.

Our QBS have looked terrible, Oline is garbage, just about the only thing that is decent is Dline. WRs can't catch. Overall if you really watch the Vols we look horrible, every single game. That's all coaching

needed another 5-6 yards to have a legit chance at a field goal.. good thing grandpa Debord called a TE waggle 2 yards downfield to waste about 5-6 precious seconds. Unreal how f'n awful that guy is.

Hate to say it.... but there goes the East.

Injuries
Bad Offense
and Bad gameplanning lost this game.

Looks like its back to the Outback bowl.

It's rough. I'm glad we got a couple moments against UF and UGA, at least. But this is a poorly coached team right now.

We obviously are not going to fire Jones this season short of losing out, but he's obviously coaching for his job next year. And given the performance the last three games, I don't have much confidence that he will hold onto it.

It would take more then a 10-3 (with bowl win) to really put him on the hot seat. If he comes back and has a bad year next year then he would feel the heat. jmo

That has to be one of the worst losses in UT history. I mean so much is..or WAS..riding on this year. Now begins the long slow decline back to utter craptitude. What a kick in the nuts.

And a f****** coward for a coach. A 57-yard field goal are you f****** kidding me when the f*** has he kicked a 57-yard field goal
