I honestly don't think JG has looked bad. He's not been amazing, but it's his first start, and he has had some good flashes. Better OL and better playcalling, we might have a really solid QB. No TO is a refreshing change.

He's looked a heck of a lot better than Dormady IMO. I'm hoping Dormady will never take another snap at UT.

I'm still not sure I buy that. I think there's talent there, but they are atrociously coached.

That's what I mean. You can have talent and suck. Vols are just incredibly poorly coached. Therefore, they're awful.

He's only been allowed to throw 10 times. He's 7/10. Maybe you can say a couple of those sacks he held the ball too long or didn't find a WR that he should have, but you can't blame 10 passing attempts on the QB when he's completed 7 of them.

But how many times did he drop back...only to tuck the ball and run?

0 deep shots are allowing the defense to stifle runs and screens. Doesn't matter if he doesn't complete the deep shots, you still have to take them.
