If he had hired better assistants and let them coach he would probably still be doing well here.

I know one thing , I am rooting for JG to have a big game.

Always worried when a new QB gets his first start.

Win or lose I want one thing to be clear that JG is the answer.

I’ve decided to record the game. Gonna spend the day with my kids. Time is fleeting. If we win, I’ll watch it later. If not I’ll delete it and go on.

I know, I was rooting for him because he's worked so hard, but I don't think it's going to be.

I'm wearing my VOLS Butch Jones shirt right now in honor of him, in case it's his last game.

Anyway, lets go VOLS (and JG!!)

I'll be drinking this game but I am somewhat excited to see if JG can do anything. I hope he shows flashes this game. It'll be interesting to see how he does starting instead of coming in after QD has sucked the life out of the offense. I think he'll force things but hopefully he settles in quickly and shows us that despite it being his first start, he can grow into being the QB we need.

I agree. And I'm very much encouraged by how many fans feel the same way. Man, we have some hateful, unappreciative fans and sometimes they drown out everybody else.

Turning point in the season today, and the crowd will get testy if we start slow. Fans are frustrated. JG hasn't had many live reps or game experience-- hope he can rise above that and make the difference.

Can you imagine how depressing this would be if Dormady was starting again?

Guarantano is the silver lining that's keeping me going today. Good or bad I'm excited to watch him develop and see what we've got.

Agreed...that's one reason I've not been in the football forums much lately, I know he has to go, but I don't want to be infected with this hatred of the man.

Butch got cheers during announcements, no boos. Place is half empty. It’s sad. At least I’m sitting with Gruden getting inside info. I’m going to start a pay site and you can see what he said.
