So.... If the Vols come out on fire making a statement against SC and handle them decisively that's not barometer to whether or not the players have their coaches back? Does it not discount all the rumors of a divided locker room?

On the other hand, since SC is not a very good team, if the Vols lay an egg as most predict, lend credence to the rumors that Butch has truly lost the team?

I'd say this game is very much a barometer as to where the team is currently.

If the team comes out on fire and crushes USCe, it could serve as a barometer that maybe the lockerroom situation isn't as bad as we thought.


Anything less is just par for the course and wouldn't tell us anything we don't already know.

I think we win unless the team is just so through with Butch they completely give up. USCe is not a good team. We’re way better too to bottom.


But I don’t think we’re gonna blow them out or anything. Would be hilarious if we do though.

24-10 USC. Let’s not discount that Muschamp owns Butch and his offense even when it was good. I don’t think he’s scared of QD or JG

Our offense is awful. To add to that we are starting a new QB. That’s why I just can’t see us winning this game.

I would kill to have Anthony Lynn's Buffalo Bills playbook from last year. He took a team that wasn't that great throwing the ball and made it an exotic running team that killed it.

I'm not sure if you're serious but I think IF JG settles in and plays well we very well could win. I'm actually a little excited to watch him play, along with hopefully seeing some of the young guys on D like Johnson, Butler, A Smith, maybe Ignont? Labruzza and Jackson.

I’m glad some of y’all are optimistic because I am having a hard time seeing a win. If we can get JK rolling then I can see us doing alright but it’s hard for me to see sustained drives. I think we need to have a big splash play or two and then if we can just put a long drive or two together then maybe we can pull it out. We should be able to stop them, IMO. Without Deebo their offense isnt explosive either.

I’ve got 21-17. Flip a coin to see who comes out on top.
