‘23 Recruiting Forum: Official South Carolina Pregame/Game Thread

Defining game today to see just what we have... Not only for the players but the coaching staff...Everything plays into our favor, so can we capitalize on it? Will we see adjustments being made by the staff? Will there be some changes to coverage/etc by the Defense? Still have Pili and maybe Simmons out, but other than that, we should be at full strength unless I'm missing someone... Will Joe and the WR group be in sync or will they continue to struggle with timing? Will the staff let Joe throw the 10-15yd passes or is it more of the same sideline and long ball BS? Will our D be able to shut Rattler down and pressure him all night? Will our Oline hold up and give Joe time to throw? Will Joe use his feet when needed? Crowd MUST be a factor.

Well that’s a little nit picky… I could pass it along to one player on offense, but not sure he could get everybody on the same page with that haha
I was just messing with you.

Seriously though, can you tell them to put their mouthpieces in? Someone is going to bite their tongue off or lose a tooth. Thanks 😊

Not going to lie, watching Florida struggle has me wondering if we haven't taken a huge step back this year.

Hope we take care of business tonight.
I mean we definitely have. We lost a lot of significant talent at every position on offense except running back. Most importantly the offensive line has been significantly worse. We'll see what it looks like tonight though with Cooper back

Our offense has definitely taken a step back. It was expected. The problem is our defense is at the best, no better, and could actually be worse, which wasn't expected.

Usually have one or 2 games per year with high confidence. Confidence meter high. 45 - 31 Vols

Napier is 1-7 on the road. They looked just as inept at Utah.

We also gained just as many yards on the road as UK did at home. We just shot ourselves in the foot on the road.
