While re-watching the UTSA game I noticed that the Refs stopped our offense while allowing UTSA to substitute players even when we didn't. Bazooka Joe even waved off the Refs and couple of times so he could get the play off quickly. We did catch UTSA in an illegal substitution a couple of times, but still the Refs should not have stopped gameplay. Does anyone know why the Refs were doing this, and could this cause us issues moving fast in SEC games?
Hubbs talked about it earlier this week, but summed up apparently the ncaa passed a rule that states if the offensive player runs out of bounds on his own sideline, then rhe ref has to make sure that the offense doesn’t substitute before they snap the ball. Pretty much another annoying thing to prevent the offense from going up temp

@ACvol3 pass it along to the team to tuck their jerseys in Saturday night. Thanks!

Ain't nothing killing the mood Saturday night.

Josh Pate predicts the game at the 12:50 mark. As always he makes great points and interesting enough his model has us at -14.5! It's banking on our hostile environment mixed in with USCjr's terrible pass defense, run game, OL struggles and our ability to get to the quarterback. Florida was able to beat us up and that's why they won and it's not looking like this is a game where they will be the more physical team. He also had Florida beating us...

Florida got a massive amount of help from the zebras and our OL crapping down their legs because of the crowd.

Here's a stat that could be telling

Will Rogers' game log
Southeastern Louisiana 229 yards 2 TD's
Arizona 162 yards 3 TD's
LSU 103 yards 0 TD's

Then first road game @USCjr 487 yards...

Is LSU just incredible at stopping the pass?

FSU had 346 yards against them
Grambling had 157
Ark had 289

Holding Will Rogers to 103 seems like an outlier here

But what about Arizona?
Northern Arizona 190 yards
UTEP 283
Stanford 283

Even Southeastern Louisiana had their best pass defensive performance against Will Rogers

South Alabama, Eastern Wash and Houston Christian all threw for way more.

What in the world was USCjr doing letting Will Rogers throw all over them? Sure Ms State probably figured stuff out, but I don't think it bodes well for their defense considering the stats I just laid out.

Now Joe still threw for a very decent 287 at Florida with 5 or 6 false starts, holding calls and bs blindside blocks.

We won't have all those false starts and that alone makes us drastically better.

The opportunities will be there.

Well that’s a little nit picky… I could pass it along to one player on offense, but not sure he could get everybody on the same page with that haha
