Recruiting Forum: Official Texas A&M Pre-Game/Game Thread

Here's a thought....

Butch is in year 4 at Tennessee. He has never been at a stop for 4 years before Tennessee. Perhaps we are seeing the peak of his coaching mantra (based on the never give up attitude) and how it affects a team of recruits that are 95% recruited and coached exclusively by him.

If so, he should be the guy as long as he wants. He's not a perfect coach, but the ability to motivate a team like that is extremely, extremely rare.

I thought it would be hard to beat Bama at the end of this stretch with no bye week. This team has been so fun and so weird to watch but just love the heart.

Turnovers are a part of the game and we lost because of those and only because of those.

The injuries have been killer. But, as hard as it will be to win next week, I will not doubt this team. We will go to Atlanta regardless if we beat Bama next week or not. Would've been nice to win and finally we have shown what this offense can do. D Line is keeping us alive and will continue to do so. I think we can beat Bama but it won't be easy and no one will expect it. I don't think I expect it but nothing these guys do will surprise me.

I thought they were dead to rights many times kamara is a man and foreman made the play of the game. If they woukd just come out playing with fire in their bellies from the start no team could touch us

Foreman made defensive play of the year. If not for JJ would be play of the year period imo

Imagine if he had all his weapons? Or at least a few of them.

For all of the bad stuff today, you have to be proud of Team 120. I honestly thought the game was over at 28-7. I thought too much had mounted up with injuries, deficit, mental fatigue, etc. Those boys went out there and found a way to make plays to get back in the game. Unbelievable effort in a loss!! Hope we can rally the troops and take it to Bama next week, then get some much needed rest.
Yeah..me too. I'm proud of them. But losing this game hurts the seasons outlook bad, with the Gators and the SEC conspiring to screw us. The competitive integrity of the game is ancient history. You only win if they let you win.

Injuries didn't lose us the game. Butch has recruited depth enough to keep us in games with injuries. If you think it was injuries that lost the game, then we'll just have to disagree.

If we had Sutton, JRM, and Kirkland, we win that game. That said, we still could have won without 7 turnovers.

I can't believe you don't see that Butch has just scratched the surface.

The offense is continuing to wake up. Funny as it may sound I think the first half blunders have been a confidence thing. Nearly 700 yards on the road is usually a confidence builder.
