I can live with it too, I just like it when people base their picks off of how a team is playing right at that moment. Instead of using how they were playing in week 1, or 2 to justify their argument.

Who does everyone think starts at QB (besides JJ)? I think you have to start Shrout, he’s the healthiest but if he has trouble you put in Maurer. I think it’s doubtful you put in JG. Jmo

I agree, but at the same time Maurer was your starter before he got hurt and if he's healthy you play him. Especially, since there has been no "QB battle"

If they feel BM is 100% healthy then you start him no question. If he’s not 100% then you roll with shrout and hope he stays healthy.

The problem that Pruitt has, and it isn't actually a bad problem, is that both Shrout and Maurer have looked pretty good in the action they have seen. I think you give Maurer another week to rest. JG had to have surgery on his wrist so I think he only plays in an emergency. Play Shrout and use Maurer off the bench if needed. Just don't want to risk getting Maurer hurt in a non-conference game when we may need him down the stretch.

I can’t remember. I was really busy with my life at that time to follow too closely. I believe he did though. Which is a testament to the work he put in to make himself an even better football player. Again, he was a good football player but I think he would of played a lot more at a smaller school.

But he is definitely the definition of a True VFL. That definitely can’t be taken away from him.

I just want to see more of Shrout. Maurer wasn't beloved until (as butchna says "opportunity".
Would like to see the same for JT. Those in stride throws were really something and if he has any issues, they're not getting fixed on the bench.

If somehow they both play enough to diminish the lure of the portal, just thinking about next year, man.

Shrout isn’t transferring man..... his girlfriend who plays softball for the Vols is there. So unless she goes somewhere he isn’t going anywhere.

Agreed. People that defend the honor and motives of a philanthropist that they know personally are just the worst.

UT Plays like they have the last three games UAB can't hang. You hope GA State game keeps reminding them that they can't let up on anyone. UAB hasn't played anyone even close at this level.

Thinking if he loses out that works until after next season if he’s in line to graduate. At some point you have to make moves for yourself or your girl won’t respect you. He’s the best thrower of the bunch so that’s a check on his pro/con.
