It is done. Saban jumped up and down like a child deprived of his ice cream. Henry T ran away, cried, and then cried some more as "It's great to be a Tennessee Vol" reverberated off of the hallowed concrete inner walls of Neyland Stadium. Smoke arose and quarter smoken (it's my thread, give it to me) cigars stacked up by the pound. Yes... Tennessee beat Bama, and I'm still not tired of saying it. Regardless, Tennessee has a game this Saturday, although it should hardly feel like one, given the classic they just played. It's UT Martin, and I'm not going to go deep on this one. Let's be honest... there are bigger fish to fry, and Tennessee should literally be able to score a touchdown with every possession if they wanted to, so let's just see some things to look out for.

Keys to Victory Stuff to look for:

1. Move On: Last week was the most significant victory since the Florida 2001 victory. It's time to move on. Tennessee needs to be focused enough here to treat their opponent seriously and then earn the right to relax when the game is decidedly in hand. They need to come into the game awake and not hungover.

2. Secondary Practice: UT Martin has a good little QB behind center. Have a look at this View attachment 503438. That's awesome. Our secondary needs to be challenged, especially with so many injuries and more players being pressed into action. This is a perfect set-up in what should be a "safe" environment where a mistake or two should not be costly.

3. Get In. Get Hot. Get Out: This is a game where everyone who doesn't need the opportunity to improve their game should get to the sideline as quickly as possible. This season is too important to drop an unexpected game along the way and we need to have all hands on deck. Get the lead, and let the back-ups play.

Prediction: UT Martin has averaged 48 ppg over the last 3 games, Tennessee has averaged 43. Although UT Martin players are nowhere within the city limits of our players, they may be able to exploit our poor pass defense and frustrate Vol fans, although the defense will tighten up in the red zone and force field goals. I don't think Heupel pulls the starters as early as I would like to see (1 drive in the 3rd quarter, if things are in hand). The Vols win this one, but it's not going to be a repeat of the Akron game. Two touchdowns and 4 field goals for the Skyhawks, and however many Heupel wants to score.

I've heard there's a player at UT Martin who is from Florida and their family lost everything in the hurricane. Supposed to be a go fund me or something and some people with the Vols are trying to get the word out to help these guys out.

I'm not Internet savvy so I was hoping one of you might have heard or know how to find it to get the word out so Volunteer nation can do what is does.

Should Volnation or AD White assist a UTM player?

My goal would be to get the starters out after Q1. All of them.

Let Joe play the rest of the game bc he needs the game reps to stay sharpe just in case he is needed during this last 6 game stretch.
Or do you leave Hooker in longer to pad his Heisman stats? You know Stroud has been doing that all year with their cupcake schedule
