'18 Recruiting Forum: Official UTEP Pre-Game/Game Thread

I know, this is way out there. But the lethargy, disinterest of this team has me wondering, "Did Butch run a cult inside the program?" Like they have lost their leader and football doesn't have meaning anymore for them.
They weren't exactly lighting the world on fire last year when Butch was here. We were in a battle with UMASS.

Johnson should've caught it.
I agree. But that’s one of the toughest route combinations in football there.

The OC is essentially asking the WR to run a basic 3 step slant. The QB is then tasked with delivering the ball, perfectly on time, to a point that could easily be 7 or 8 yards all the way down field.

The level of difficulty and timing required make it a tough completion.

Wouldn’t be surprised to see us come back to that in the 2nd half if we get that same look from the Defense again.

Ha. Ha.

Lol JG throws 2 much more catchable balls than that and it’s “JG needs to throw it better”. Chryst throws it at his shins and now it’s on Johnson?
I guess you missed where I said Johnson should've caught that first one... That second one however OBJ couldn't of caught it. So get off JGs jock (you too scfan)

I just watched the replay of Jordan's TD run. He's got the ball in the wrong, inside hand. It's stuff like that all the time with most of them. Fundamentals.

They will be working on O-line protection at half time, again. Callaway and B-Johnson need mental adjustments - like in their faces.
