Not turning on them, just still unconvinced they’re any different than Butch’s bunch yet.
At which point not only is everything his fault, but he was in fact the worst coach in the history of our program and we can’t expect whoever comes in to have an easy time with coaching geniuses like Will Muschamp or Derek Mason. If you haven’t caught on, people are constant apologists for the current coach and nothing is ever the coach’s fault until after he is fired. Then everything is his fault
I’m serious. Someday somehow as fans we gotta take the long view like Kentucky has with Stoops. We are in a deep hole and we don’t have the talent instate for any old coach to come in here and win quickly like they do at Florida, Georgia and LSU. It takes time. We gotta give it to them.
Is that not something the head coach shares some of the responsibility for? I do believe that the players are a significant reason but this team is bad and getting worse.I'm not going to blame the coaches. These players have the mental toughness of a dandelion. A fart through the wind makes them buckle and shatter.
Many Vol fans wanted a coach who would bring in a pro style offense with a fullback. Fulmer wanted that too. Unfortunately you have to have a strong oline to run pro system.
The reason many coaches run spread is to compensate/hide for oline weakness. Our line cannot be hidden. Our offense just very rarely this year has helped our defense at all.
Agreed. If after UK people were asking what the absolute worst case would be for finishing the season, this is it right here. Does not speak well of anyone in orange.Literally the worst outcome possible over the last two weeks. Very well may ruin our recruiting class and put Pruitt closer to the hotseat. No excuse these last 2 weeks from the players AND the coaches!
