He’s probably been our best linemen and was a captain today. He’s an 18-22 year old who made a boneheaded play like 18-22 year olds do.

Not saying much there. On one of our sweeps to the left I saw him get blown up 3 yards behind the line of scrimmage and put on his behind. It’s just sad to watch and frustrating.

Not today. They suck. If we don’t send guys packing then I’m done. Lack of effort is inexcusable. Do your best and get beat then ok. But this lack of effort better be rewarded with walking papers.

There needs to be a purge. There’s a culture problem and it needs flipped, Fulmer and Pruitt are working on it. But a bunch of players need to go.

Bob Shoop was a terrible DC here but awesome before he got to Knoxville. And he goes to Starkville, where they were used to winning for awhile, a winning culture and all of a sudden he’s a great defensive coordinator again.

Point is, I think were undervaluing culture and mindset. And how important it is and how difficult it seems to be to change quickly.

Culture was not the reason our defense sucked in 2016 lol
