Well you’re playing 3 freshman in the secondary. You can’t really expect much from them in this spot.

Our defense is going to need Taylor/kongbo to get pressure bc you can’t blitz all the time with 3 freshman in the back end. But you also can’t allow QBs, especially heisman caliber ones, to just sit back there all day.

I'm gonna go ahead and say that they won't ever get consistent pressure.

On D , we've not covered them, we've not confused them with coverages. We still don't turn and look for the ball. We still don't wrap up on tackles. They have a young secondary but we've not exposed that. This coaching staff has a long way to go. I'm not giving up on them at all but I've way over estimated where they are now as a staff.

We’ve called multiple pressures from the secondary, A gap, we’ve dropped Ends into coverage. We’ve shown multiple fronts 3 and 4. There’s just nothing you can do when you don’t get to the QB.

What offensive play calls have you hated? We haven’t went deep a lot because they have played a deep soft shell zone the whole game. We’re doing exactly what you should do which is why JG is having a field day picking them apart.

Kirkland and Bituli have been invisible. Tuttle, Johnson, and Phillips have been maybe serviceable at best. The secondary is young and expected to make mistakes, but nobody has even flashed potential. It's concerning.
