There were several plays in the first half where we ran the ball when we had zero chance of making the first down. The drive to end the half for us is one. I've said, I'm not as disappointed in the offense. The defense is an abomination. WV sees stiffer defenses in practice. This was supposed to be Pruitt's stick, especially defensive backs. They've not covered a WV receiver all day. It's been easy. I can't believe you can defend this garbage.

Lol. Buckle up, InVol. You've got at least 3 seasons of this to look forward to. Might want to pace yourself.

One thing to note. Taylor and Thompson didn’t seem to get beat nearly as often or as badly as Buchannon and Abernathy. Hopefully the freshmen continue to improve and we never have to see 22 on the field again.

You’re just not giving any good examples of “bad coaching”. Sounds like you’re upset for a draw call on 3rd and 5 or whatever. When WVU gashed us twice on draws in similar situations.

We started 3 true freshman defensive backs against one of the best passing attacks in college football. If you go back and watch we actually kept them from gettin off the line and into their routes several times.

Did you really and honestly expect us to come down and lock up a heisman caliber QB and WR with this secondary?

I’m defending it because i saw us be creative on defense. We brought blitzes from every level and direction but we Just never really got there. That’s not coaching. That’s player execution.

Pass D is a direct result of pass rush. The only pressure we’re created all day was in the middle with Johnson or Tuttle. I hate calling out and bashing individual players but Kongbo and Taylor never made it off the bus.

QB like Grier can really make your D backs look really bad. He had some incredible throws and catches by his WR's. But don't disagree about them them looking lost and bad several times. They got schooled today.

I did not see any quit. Seems alonte played well. I was hoping for something different but still see 7 wins. Our QB play was a positive and not many of us expected that.
