Better at QB for sure and his line on both sides look as good if not better. Maybe that development versus recruiting but either way.

I think it's pretty safe to say that development is the difference there.

Point being if UF is able to hire a big time HC because of money and recruiting, why did they hire a non-HC? That's risky. Money and recruiting is available at lots of places. Coaches will not be lining up to coach at a place that is doing what UF is doing to Mac.

Agreed. If they stop witch hunt and pay his buyout it won’t hurt them much. If they negate his buyout, potential coaches will be weary.

McElwain looked and sounded like he'd be happy to negotiate it down and take half the buyout just to be able to be done with it. Was telling the fans goodbye rather than telling the AD he still wanted to everything he could to right the ship

Also depends on availability. Everyone wanted Muschamp. You are reaching at something that was not a reach. Neither one of us know on McElwain.

One could argue that with the rise of Nashville that TN is just as attractive for recruiting.
