Don't understand the logic. The longer the season drags on the less likely he is to resign on his own and make a deal with Currie, but that also means his tenure will overlap with the three remaining home games and the university will stand to lose millions in ticket sales and concessions.

Plus I don't really like the idea that Currie is basically toying with Butch and the fanbase to save some scratch on Butch's buyout.

JG had trouble picking up the blitz. It's understandable with his youth, but OL was not that big of a problem in the passing game.

Would be Currie's first mistake in this process. Post Bama is the perfect time to switch to an interim.

I was told last Sunday it was over and they were negotiating the buyout. I'm not sure I trust my guy anymore.

They might be negotiating. But UT is willing to ride with him and continue to work behind the scenes unless CBJ agrees to resign. Otherwise, some don't see a financial incentive to fire him right now. A lot of people don't agree with that, but the powermongers are almost always divided.
