Why does it keep changing?

After UF, "gotta beat UGA or he's done". After UGA, "lose to SC & he's done before monday". After SC, "get boatraced against Bama & he's gone before Monday".

Now it's after Kentucky? How does that even make sense?

Maybe because no good coach is showing interest in the job

Don't understand the logic. The longer the season drags on the less likely he is to resign on his own and make a deal with Currie, but that also means his tenure will overlap with the three remaining home games and the university will stand to lose millions in ticket sales and concessions.

Plus I don't really like the idea that Currie is basically toying with Butch and the fanbase to save some scratch on Butch's buyout.

You will go crazy if you try to apply logic to some of these decisions. But the buyout is fixed unless terms are renegotiated. They believe UT fans will continue to show up because the next two home games are homecoming and LSU. They're not looking at it from the team, player or fan perspective. They're looking at it like he's bought and paid for, so let's see how it plays out.

That's pathetic. Makes it hard to want to continue to support the Vols, to be honest.

Perfect example of what's wrong with this program if true.

great game D, you played hard.
Kongbo, at this point you are a Tard.
We have no WRs... JSmith and Byrd need to hold clipboards
Oline for the most part played like scared girls today, had a few good snaps.
Kelly you are a beast.
JG is just average. PLEASE quit making excuses for this kid. He was a top 10 dual-threat coming out of high school, who has been in the program for two years and plays and makes decisions like he is still in high school.
Butch and play calling didn't disappoint, it sucked as usual.
Please just LEAVE.

Let's handshake and be on the same team now

Don’t even know why I went and commented in the Gruden thread about Frost:

Poster: I don’t want another experiment! (Totally understandable, I’m with him at this point.) If we are going to get another experiment we might as well bring Tee home!

🤔

I totally agree. If true, you cannot argue that the ADMIN does not care about the fanbase at all, they are just looking at the entire situation from a pure financial angle, and how does it benefit and not hurt them the most.... Hey, I'll help you on the financial end, I am not going to attend anymore games, buy any swag, or give any money to my alma mater until we have a new coach or an interim.... simple. :hi:

LOL if true then the fans are about to show them what's up, IMO

If we go after Scott Frost and I hope we do, it will drag out until the end of his season.

I hate that.

But maybe an interim can put a spark in this team and at least give us something to pull for. Let's salvage a winning record out of this disaster of a season -- we've got the talent.

Butch said there was a “miscommunication on the flea flicker.”

Gets paid millions of dollars and he can’t even get his offense to run a play right that you likely practiced for all week. Bye Butch.

Not sure it has changed with UT admin. I thought we should have let him go before SCAR to see if the team would be energerzied by a new voice. But UT is looking at it from a different perspective.

They could work something out any day, but I've always heard they are willing to wait and see what happens.

Im THIS close from urging you guys to not buy any tickets til we make a change. This crap has gone on long enough

Currie and crew really showing poor decision making. This team cannot do anything with CBJ at the helm. We really do have a patient and forgiving fan base. I hope we bring 40k to the LSU game.
