It's clear that JG isn't a finished product, but this "offense" can only be successful with a pocket passer if the OL and WR are strengths of the team and the QB is the last piece of the puzzle. That's not our team this year. QD might not be as bad as he's looked this year and end up being successful somewhere, but he's not good enough to succeed despite the limitations of the offense

Seriously?

You watch those last few plays before half?

Clearly the kid has zero clue how to manage a game.

Can't get game experience standing on the sidelines and getting leadership reps in practice. He should have been given more live reps in practice and more PT in OOC games. It's going to take a little time to see what he can do.

Toss up to be honest. I could easily see JG holding the ball too long or mismanaging this second half and losing the game.

How about I put it this way? Neither are winning QBs right now

I don’t necessarily disagree that JG has some work to do, but he has showed he can at least move the ball. If we started JG from the beginning I think he would look much better then QD did with a few starts under his belt.

This is how Butch chooses to (potentially) go down. Rather than letting it loose with his back against the wall he plays an uber conservative dink and dunk offense.

How many field goals does it take to beat Bama?

You forget the trick play in the red zone?
