Some splainin to do

I don't think there's much to explain. Worley looked very solid and was getting Most Improved Player noise up through the Georgia game. He looked very much like a QB who could get us to a bowl game. Only against Florida and Ole Miss did the wheels fall off of that particular wagon.

If Worley still has this team on track for a bowl game, you steal 2017 for Dobbs. Worley lost the reins. Here we are.

Butch's refusal to be agressive on 4th and short greatly annoys me.

The AJ at QB play was just dumb. Hurd and Dobbs both have been killing them up the middle

I think missing a 4th down there would have been catastrophic.

Getting the 3 points keeps the momentum going.

I think there's something to be said for that.

I don't love the AJ call, but I'm glad we've gotten some points on the board. That IS a positive against an elite defense.

I agree with this. I do not trust our OL on 4th and short. I think we blew it on third down though for the same reason. Bama knew what was coming and we don't have the OL for that. Put AJ in there and directional snap it to Hurd might have worked better but looked like they Set that edge pretty well.

2017 is a long time from now.

Let that play go.

Unreal to think we are only down 17 at half the way this started.

Dobbs is for real.

I agree, I didnt like it, but if it scores, then I love it, haha.

Not a fan of it, but we are moving in the right direction bigtime now.

Lets get a stop to open the 2nd.

I think the fg was fine. We needed points on that drive. I do agree the beast package was unnecessary and should've been a Dobbs, Hurd option

Yea but we were running the offense all messed up to cater to Eorleys skill set. He didn't fit and it handicapped the whole offense. Just watch the game tonight. Can you not see?

Offense rolling on 3rd and 1. Bring in AJ. Offense sucks on 3rd and 1. Go get em Worley. Jake you silly little man

Butch "gets it". lol.

Don't know about y'all - but I am sick of losing in stupid ways due to bad coaching decisions. It is like UT has been cursed with stupid for the last 6-7 years.

People can complain all they want, but I think the offensive play calling has been fine. We are throwing some laterally because it is quick. You can't throw quick vertically. If Wolf makes a catch or two and Dobbs doesn't fumble, this is much closer. This year will be tough, but I actually see a future next year for Dobbs, and I think we could progress nicely.

Anyone think Butch tries to steal a possession with an onside kick to start the 2nd half?
