No. He's gone super-conservative this year, much to his detriment.

Indeed it is. Not really the point though. Again, Worley looked plenty good enough to get us into a bowl game. With an effective Worley, redshirting Dobbs is defensible. Especially since we have many accounts of Dobbs having a poor fall camp.

There have been things to criticize with this coaching staff. I just don't think the decision regarding Dobbs is one of them.

Seriously. I was hoping for a way to forget that I ever cared about football. I am very very pleased at the resilience we've seen.

People can complain all they want, but I think the offensive play calling has been fine. We are throwing some laterally because it is quick. You can't throw quick vertically. If Wolf makes a catch or two and Dobbs doesn't fumble, this is much closer. This year will be tough, but I actually see a future next year for Dobbs, and I think we could progress nicely.

Don't know about y'all - but I am sick of losing in stupid ways due to bad coaching decisions. It is like UT has been cursed with stupid for the last 6-7 years.

If AJ gets a first down, it's genius. It is such a fine line. Just tired of the negativity. We have young talent, and we will have a good recruiting class. You just keep working. We will win some big games. But hey, what do I know?

There is something to be said for Bama not knowing who the QB would be this week as well.

My one hope for Bajakian and this offense is that the scheme completely changes when we get a real QB in here. Worley may be limiting us more than we know.

I am more frustrated by that than the call. Remember it all started with our center not understanding to snap the same ball in the hurry up.

The way this OL has played, Worley getting hurt wasn't out of the question.

I'd rather Dobbs have more experience for taking over in 2015.

When Dobbs came in on the third series of the game the commentators said that was Butchs plan coming into the game. Anybody have any idea on why we didn't just start Dobbs if the plan was to have him come in the third series anyway and have him take over for the rest of the game and now probably the rest of the season?

Yes, but it was still a struggle when he came in last year. As Huard said, without game reps, he looks good in the pocket. Hopefully he can build on it.
