We have to win today. My first game in Neyland and second ever. The first was the Outback Bowl win over Wisconsin. 1-0 so far, hopefully 3-0 in games attended after tonight and next week against the Cocks.

I like our DL. Vereen is starting to come on. Barnett should have his way with Cam Robinson. I would slide 33 into the box and let him come downhill and stick the RBs.

I think Weatherd will be in on some plays as well.

I think we have on of the best young secondaries in the nation, just pointing out the fact that they are young and not what I would call elite yet but the future is mighty bright.

The main reason I don't like him is because he did nothing but set us back for selfish reasons and when he sold us out instead of giving a reasonable explanation and facing us, he snuck out of town. Said he left the team better off than when he took the job. What a load of crap. Way to own up you sociopathic pos.

I like Williams' progress. He can definitely build on that going into next year. However, he's really going to have his hands full next year if we sign Justin Martin.

Like I've said before, I hate Dooley about ten times more than Kiffin. I believe most Vol fans feel the same as I do.

Edit: Kiffin was a POS that used us as a stepping stone to get another job. Dooley, IMO, knew after the loss to KY in 2011 that he was on the way out and did all he could do to ruin our program. His being a complete failure in recruiting, especially making contact with HS programs, has made that clear. His failure to recruit at needed positions proves it even more.

This is what the media doesn't understand. We hate Kiffen because his abrupt departure brought us Dooley.

Dooley is the problem we have today. The idea that we hired the "best available" at the time. And then we had to give him a chance. His three inept years are our problem.

We also hate CLK because of his recruiting practices that decimated our roster and brought recruiting sanctions.

Am I the only who is having trouble getting excited for this game? Let me preface by saying I have been a Vol since birth, went to my first game at 4, and love the Vols.

I have never been less excited for a Bama game. Of course I will watch but I have zero hope for a win for the first time as a Vol fan.

I don't think Kiffen would have been successful in the win column for us (see USC). But I think he would have been fired after three years and left us with a bunch of talent (see USC).

But him leaving in the middle of the night in Jan and the hiring of Dooley set us back in a huge way.

Butch has a long way to go because of that.

The problem is that ESPN and Finebaum don't care and only look at something that would give negative pub in this situation. Once UT starts winning watch them be all over UT's jock just like every other good program.

No. My enthusiasm for the season kinda died after the Florida loss. It's frustrating and disheartening to watch a team with so much talent be held back by a single position group.
