Anybody blaming the run game on scheme and coaching, and not the OL, need only look back to last year when we had an NFL caliber OL. We had the best rushing offense we have had since I think 2004. It's definitely the OL this year.

Have we decided that we've mastered the throw to the tight end and there's no reason to do it again?

It's a culmination of all these things. The OL is garbage and the coaching staff has not helped them progress one bit. They also haven't implemented more running plays to help. God forbid we use more blockers or even a fullback. You adjust. The defense has, the offense has not. One's very good, the other is very bad. Weird.

No no no! It's all on the players. Coaching has nothing to do with it.

Dude, watch them. They're clueless. They have no idea who they're supposed to block or in what direction. Do you really think UTC has bigger stronger or faster players at any position?

It has nothing to do with our players and everything to do with our OL stepping the wrong way or pushing DL inside when they're supposed to push outside (or vv) or some other poor decision and technique.

This is a silly discussion. We had our best rushing year in a long time last year with a bunch of guys Vols fans swore couldn't run block to save their life. This year with an all new OL, its the coaches fault that we can't run the ball. That makes perfect sense.
