Why Kentucky wins: If Justin Worley were still Tennessee's QB, I'd feel differently. If the Vols' offensive line had shown more improvement, I'd wonder about this pick. But I can't change those things. Kentucky is just better. Its defense, with playmakers Bud Dupree, Za'Darius Smith and A.J. Stamps, should force Dobbs into a few bad plays. So long as Patrick Towles is careful with the football, Kentucky should be able to run effectively and score enough points. Kentucky 35, Tennessee 34 -- Alex Scarborough

From the ESPN predictions. Just proves they don't watch games. Worley has never accounted for 470 yards of offense and the line had its first game with no sacks. This is the definition of not knowing your subject matter

:eek:lol:

Did he make this pick three weeks ago? He is a Bama homer, but I did not think he was this much of one to be humiliated publicly by that pick with those reasons. Kentucky might win, but it won't be for the reasons he states. They would have to play perfect, and our team come out flat and play terrible. Vols 48-21.

What ESPN's Scarborough failed to mention was that KY is "red hot" coming in here with that 4 game losing streak. He sees Tennessee as having no playmakers on defense but mentions 3 of KY's. I don't see KY having a lot of luck running on Tennessee's defense and I believe we'll force Towles into several bad plays with our speed on defense. All Vols in this one 42-16.

What an awful analysis. It's like this dude stopped watching both teams at Week 6.

Does he think Josh Dobbs=Peterman or something? Even a 100 percent healthy Worley doesn't give us as much of a chance in this game as Dobbs will.

If you are not going to take time and effort to research a prediction it is probably in your best professional interest to not make a prediction. Now, UK certainly could win. But that analysis is embarrassing for a person who presumably should be concerned with reputation when it comes to knowledge of college football.

Is this game a sellout yet?
From Twitter:
Butch Jones just said on @3HL1045 that Tennessee's game against Kentucky is sold out.

That said, I went on UTTix site, and saw some seats, but it couldn't have been more than 50...

I think the Kentucky/Tennessee game should be named the Whiskey Bowl kind of like how Auburn/Alabama is called the Iron Bowl.

The Tennessee Volunteers meet the Kentucky Wildcats this weekend and it appears that Kentucky head coach Mark Stoops has been very impressed with Tennessee running back Jalen Hurd.
Thursday, Stoops compared Hurd to one of the most talented running backs of all time in former Oklahoma superstar Adrian Peterson, who happens to have been coached by another Stoops brother -- Bob Stoops -- in college.
