I think Dobbs doesn't rush for a lot this week. I don't think it will be necessary, and they will save him the hits. Hurd will carry the load and Scott will get back into the mix

I hope this is true. Maybe a couple of designed carries and a handful of scrambles for big gain.

34-24 Vols

UK hates us and seem to usually play up for our game. I was worried about this game until Dobbs took over. We could end up blowing them out, but I'm trying to temper my expectations.

38-21 Vols

Hurd runs for a lot. Dobbs runs for some, but not as much as Hurd. Think he'll try to pick them apart. But won't be surprised if he scrambles everywhere. KY will do their scoring in the first half. Defense adjusts and wears them down in the second half. KY is pretty beat up and don't think they'll have the fight to keep up with the Vols and the energy inside Neyland. Both fighting for bowls, but Vols win this one. Defense gets their swag back with sacks, and turnovers..

Outside of Missouri, UT is going to be a step down from the teams UK has been playing. This game all depends on Dobbs. I posted this earlier in the week but UK's front 7 will most likely get more pressure on Dobbs than what South Carolina was able to. If the offensive line and Dobbs can handle it then UT can score a lot of points. Outside of Florida, UK has had a really tough time scoring points on the road. I do think they'll put up points though.

For the people who are predicting 30+ point blowouts, I just don't see it. I wouldn't be surprised to see UT win by 17 or so if things are really going well, but I also wouldn't be surprised to see a loss. Going to be a good ballgame and I can't wait until Saturday! GBO!!

Let's hope not. The meltdown around here would be of epic proportions. I'm not sure there are enough mattresses in the whole state. :thud:

Hmmmm... I always thought the rocket was the engine. Where's engineerVOL or Dobbs when you need him.

They have an engine, though it's much different than a traditional engine. Basically just mixes fuel and an oxidizer (can't use air like a normal engine) and shoots it through a nozzle to speed it up and create thrust.

Right. That's what I meant, the rocket is the engine, it doesn't have one. Like saying a V8 has a great engine. I think it's just a semantics thing.

Side note, KY RB jojo kemp, whom Butch tried to land after he got the Tennessee job, is cousin to Marlin Lane

They also have a cheap, generic version of Jalen Hurd at running back, the conspicuously-named "Braylon Heard."

Seriously? With the way the last 5-6 years have gone, I'd be happy if we won 2-0. Just give me a W

I was half joking because of the score predictions posted right before my post. But seriously, as bad as they play on the road, we should score a bunch and not look back.

I think this is pretty spot on, maybe change the 21 to 27.

45-21 Orange.

I thought I read somewhere in this thread UK will be missing one of their better defensive players this week but I couldn't find it. Can someone confirm? :hi:
