Vols win by 2+ TDs.
TKJr will have a pick.
Emmanuel Moseley will get a pick.
Hurd breaks a run of 30+ for a TD.
DB gets 2 more sacks.
Mizzou held to less than 175 total yards of O.

Missouri really isn't a great team. I watched their games against Kentucky and Vanderbilt and they were in position to lose both of those games until late in the 4th quarter.

They also got murdered by UGA and needed a miracle to beat USC like us. And of course UF gave them about 5 free touchdowns.

IMO, Missouri is a 5-5 or 6-4 team just like us that got some lucky breaks.

FWIW, there have been 4 common opponents.

....................Tennessee.............. Missouri

Georgia.............32-35....................0-34

(Y)UK................50-16...................20-10

Hmmm... Looking at the last 2 games with Dobbs, looks like Vols by anywhere from 2 to 24.

IMO 27-13 Orange. :rock:

If they put up 0 on UGA, 21 on USC, and 20 on UK they will have a tough time scoring on us.

Most of those UF points were scored on defense/ST. Think they had like 150 yards of offense that game.

Yeah. Dobbs moved the chains really well against Bama of all teams. Missouri isn't on that level.

As usual we see things in a similar way. Weatherd did a nice job of that in the second half against UK. Hopefully Jancek uses a similar approach against Mizzou. Having TKJr. on the backend also helped a great deal. Looking forward to him and Gaulden teaming up in the future.

Barnett/Maggitt combine for four sacks.
Hurd has a huge game...finally breaks a long one.
Yet another WR steps up and has a nice game...I'll say it's Pearson's best day as a Vol.
Dobbs keeps their DL in check with his running ability.
Defense handles business, holding Missouri to an early TD and FGs the rest of the way.

It was a board made up of 59 head coaches from FBS schools who vote each week. All are members of the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA). I think it's still the same...

I agree. Team has a bunch of confidence right now, to go along with a bunch of talent. This is a fun game. It's not a critical absolute must win, and we have a chance to beat a top 25 team and wreck Mizzou's season. In a sense, nothing to lose and everything to gain. All upside. The team should be pretty loose for this one, and my guess is they expect to win. This is fun.

Yesterday was the first SEC game in a loooonnnngggg time where I was relaxed after the first drive. I could just tell we were about to blow them out

I'm hoping they can slow down their running game thus forcing them to throw more than comfortable.

A multiple INT night for Mauk would be quite enjoyable.

I know the feeling. So did Kentucky.

That team had 0 confidence or swagger. They really appeared to be going through the motions to me. I don't know...
