I think our 3rd down offensive efficiency is trending up sharply now.

As many have pointed out on VN - the overall team stats for UT for the season can be thrown out the window. Everything changed with the Dobbs Effect. Mizzou is not an offensive oriented team. They are a defensive, field position, handling assignments type team. They are UK level to slightly better on offense and have benefited from an easier schedule. The Dobbs Effect changes UT scoring to the 28-30 points per game range against the best D's. As a result I still see this as a 35-20 type game - Vols. However, I will be happy with a W no matter the score.

I want a total destruction kinda score as I changed yours above...the 6 points for mizzou happens in the 4th quarter against the 4th string and walkons. mizzou does score a TD, but the defense stops their 2 point conversion attempt

We really need a fast start in this game more than any other. Would get the crowd into it quickly with chilly temps, and take some of the anxiety and worry away from the past week and players we have lost for this game.

I think I read that Lane is pretty much full go. Scott is still wearing a cast on his hand. Butch would probably say that he is available, but probably won't play.

I was at the SEC championship game last year when Tre Mason ran to the moon and back against Mizzou. Hurd and Dobbs will have similar success and we control this game from "It's football time in Tennessee" to Jordan Williams directing the Pride.
