Have we figured out who this guy is and what exactly he did?

I believe Maggitt was getting foot taped up and it was apparently this guys responsibility to see that he was replaced. We only had ten men on the field when Wilds ran for the 70 yard TD. Butch seemed to be upset about the TD.

Well technically he didn't do anything. On that long SC touchdown run we only had 10 guys on the field. The guy was probably supposed to make sure we have the right numbers each play.

Was it this guy? In my media guide he's listed as "Defensive Quality Control"

John Brice reported a lower leg injury on Lane out at least 3 weeks. I heard somewhere else it was a broken leg, not sure where. North had concussion like symptoms and should be ok.

Hate it for him too, but had he kept going he probably picks up the first down, and doesn't get hurt. I didn't understand what he was trying to do there. He had the guy beat to the corner, had he not delayed and tried to cut it up field.

I think that's what happened. Lane has never been one to bounce it outside, unlike Neal. He usually just takes what's in front of him and goes.

That was the problem. He had the edge, why not keep going? A popped ankle I guess.

Wow. Read through this thread from before the game. Nice to see a bunch of y'all bashing the team/coaches and giving up (not just on the game, but the season, the program, the coaching staff) as early as the beginning of the 4th quarter. Then the same people acting like they were there all along.

People all around me last night were saying it was done, coaches suck, turn it off, blah blah. I kept saying, "we still have time. This game ain't over."

Our team fought til the end. Too bad the people who critique them all week and during the game couldn't.

Eating crow is fine. To each their own. I'll eat whatever the hell I want this week, with a side of hot sauce.

Me too. But I generally read the thread the day after. I was excited to see the celebratory posts after the win. It's a different perspective when you aren't reading them in real time, I guess.
