45-14 (last 2 tds for Iowa don't count) is a great way to go into the off-season.

Feels good to win a bowl and have a winning season again!

very pleased with how the game turned out, I think our offensive line was much improved tonight after 3 weeks of practicing, i think hurd is a beast with an amazing future ahead of him, Dobbs looked like a star today through the air and on the ground. Defense played good but still some room for improvement. I thought our secondary was pretty lock down for most of the game, hard to say for the dline because theyre was so much holding going around. Jakob johnson has ALOT of work to do, i think Latroy lewis is kind of underrated because he is a ball hawk, barnett played well, i think his injury hampered him a little bit but he's a beast. Maggitt looked like a leader all night long. Special teams was incredible all game long, except darr. He is pretty terrible. Malone had a bad drop but i think he will be okay, pearson was in beast mode tonight showing how much the injury did slow him down at the beginning of the season. GO VOLS

It is so awesome to have this kind of momentum going into the offseason. If we can stay top 5 in recruiting and everyone stays on track we will head into 2015 as a real darkhouse in the SEC east.

But what's with the refs not calling the blatant holding on EVERY single pass? Barnett didn't get the record because of that.

And the announcers being ignorant about the Third Saturday in October and the hatred for Alabama was pretty sad. Announcers should do more research and not be so oblivious!

I mean, I know the last two TDs don't matter especially since it was against our bench. I just like having something to complain about :)

Really great to see our beloved Vols win a bowl game in such dominating fashion.

I really think peterman will be transferring soon, just dont see him staying with potentially 3 better quarterbacks coming in.

I've noticed that whenever ESPN shows highlights of some team's season, they always seem to have at least one highlight play against Tennessee. While I know we have had lapses on defense the last few years allowing for big plays (cough, Sunseri, cough), I find it odd that such a high percentage of other teams highlights should come against us. I just took a look at the espn story on this game. Lo and behold, almost all of the highlights they show are of Iowa scoring / big plays. If I had not watched the game or seen the final score, I would have thought that Iowa put a giant beat down on us.

I was a little disappointed in Darr today. I would have liked to have seen a couple of those big boomers he's capable of. But, for the most part he's been very solid all year.

This was my first bowl game that I could attend as a Vol fan. It was amazing overall. However, it was sad that there were Vol fans complaining in the stands that we held back at the end. There were a few guys just shouting "f*** Dobbs" and "fire Butch". Everyone was upset with them and when my buddy told him he was an a**hole for doing so, he just punched him. It made the win that less enjoyable at the end beacause we should have been happy with the individual performances.

I know I'm just ranting so GBO! Butch is awesome!

**And yes, before everyone reminds me, I'm well aware my handle is awful.
