Opening drives of the 2nd half are huge, IMO. We need a 3 and out and then establish our O on a drive for TD. I think Vandy would lose a lot of enthusiasm if that happens.
That's a play where we really missed AJ IMO. I'm guessing everything is still a blur for Jakob. It's also shown up really bad on those options. Jakob kept biting hard inside on the keep and giving up the edge.
I agree even if we are young and still a bit green and are missing key players at several positions. We've only played one half on the road vs a team who is playing this game like their bowl game tho.
I'll bet we open it up this 2nd half and still win by 14+ pts. Even w/o Hurd, North, Croom, AJ, etc.
