Recruiting Forum Weight Loss Advice Thread

It's been a while since I weighed. Thanksgiving kicked my butt.....I ate an entire Eclair Cake and Pumpkin Pie on top of everything else. I hate to report it but.......219 on 12/2/19.

Had a setback this week. I hope I can get back on track. It’s been harder with all the holiday parties, it’s gotten me out of my routine.
 
Ok, I've ventured into protein packs the past few months. In particular the P3's from Hormel and the P2's from Sargento(some of these have delicious fruit and nut mixtures). I'm fairly strict in buying these in that I won't buy any that have chocolate or alternate forms of carbs in them(meat, cheese, nuts only). You'll find these in the deli section. I've found that I can often times simply substitute a meal with one of these. If this info helps anybody, great!

Nice thread i've read through while bored at work. Need to use this as a support group through the holidays.

Gonna start back on the cutting train on January 2. I’m not doing the sheet though.
I started Dec. 1. I've done better than I thought I would. The holidays, and a weekend trip set me back a bit. Down about 6 pounds. Shooting for 30 pounds (estimated based on body fat), then going into a bulk.

How’s a brother get in on this game? Dropping about 20 pounds between Jan and July. Hope to be pleasing to the eye

People beat themselves up with holiday eating.
Don’t feel bad and Remember this...
It’s more important what you do between Christmas and Thanksgiving instead of Thanksgiving to Christmas.
 
Who is ready to get back in the game??! I’ll log my weight tomorrow. Doing a $ comp with my friends for 60 days as well. @nicksjuzunk is using me as a lab rat to see if we can bloat me up but get back down in 2-3 days for the first weigh in. I know my buddies are going all in tonight.
 
190.2 today. Need to get in that 170 range. Started at 199 end of November. December was rough but still down about 7 pounds average. No workout today but going to do some T25 stretching

I've went from 370 down to 292 using a modified Keto diet and 1 day a week of fasting 24 hrs.

Foods high in good fats but I also eat alot of greens and non complex veggies with a few different kinds of berries mixed in a few times a week. Then once a week I eat a meal of basically anything I want to eat.
