Wow, like we really comparing apples to oranges here? Bu

Let's hope for an Izzy improvement or just solid production.

But to argue who is better as a... wuteva.

However I do think we just take only one, the one who will come to work, every day?

Jolette Law was on her staff then and Jolette has coach some of Rutgers top guards which makes me question whether or not Holly is allowing her to truly coach the players up! Te'a could be that type of player for us imo if Holly would stop handcuffing her (along with a couple other players)

The players are cuffing themselves, they don't have the necessary stamina, endurance, skills, bbiq, and playing at a high level to conditioned their minds to focus for a long period of time on the bb court.

But a good summer will do them good, that's why started so early this year cos the Lady Vols were installing a new offense, you just don't turn back it has to be installed, now they will go back hopefully and fix it, but who would have thunk our guards would've been so terrible at running it.

Lol! Really? Could you please inform us what type of Offense it is? Triangle? Motion? Looks like the same running around the perimeter and throwing up a shot in desperation to me. It takes an entire season to learn an offense? They had the entire off-season plus preseason.

Ok Dorothy, take Toto and follow the yellow "new-offense" aka "brick" road, where you will find the great and powerful H-oz.

I'm with you,Vol720. P4L keeps,ad infinitum, saying " new offense",but dribble mania is not an offense. Beating a hole in the floor does not put a point on the board. Some get it but, obviously, not the coaches.

The ball gets thrown into the "Black Hole" (Cooper, Middleton, DD, Carter, Nared... Heck just about all of them) and disappears from the rest of the team... (((((A black hole is a region of space time exhibiting such strong gravitational effects that nothing—including particles and electromagnetic radiation such as light (or a basketball)—can escape from inside it.)))) ... My Dad used to call the Atlanta Hawks/Dominique Wilkins the Black Hole offense.

The only difference is that we don't have a Dominique who would score a preponderance of the time.

Well if you read some of post at the beginning of the season, and last year, you would know which offense the ladies was installing or you can get and read who Holly was spending her time with in the off season.

In this offense you can run triangle, high -low and most offense require motion. ijs, wuteva.

Yes, it does, sometimes it can take longer too, when you don't have all the right pieces, and the coach and staff are learning too. wuteva.

They have an offense, just not being ran correctly and simply she don't have the guards or wings to run it, but anywho, I mean its not like their scoring two points, you need players to run this offense, or need a team that is a unit.

The Offense, requires movement all the time, our ladies ain't there yet. But in due time, you can't speed up progression of skills for players. And if you are one of the worse shooting teams in the country, for most coaches that a sign your players are not in the gym, consistently.

All offense really is just playing basketball, reading cuts, understand how your being defended... Offense is a just a fancy way of saying what's the best way to put the ball in the basket, and most offenses are very simple in nature if you have instinctual basketball players, which we do not, so its taking our literal, mental midget, a lil longer to catch on, but a good summer, we should be fine.

Geno maybe calls two or three solid plays a game, otherwise his veteran guard runs the team, transition, our first attack, second wave, then you just play ball; let's work to get the best shot from the player who has the best percentage of making that shot, hey that's offense.

Geno offense is not x and o, he has players, (Muffett has players, Kim has players,) its centered on getting the most highest percentage shot from the player he wants shooting it. wut?

You guys love the lady vols and don't really know what's going on huh???

Who recruited these players? It still falls at Hollys feet..... I'm not as concerned about the poor season as I am about the lack of recruiting

Harris isn't that good of an offensive player but I can take that especially on a team that doesn't have a player who wants to throw her body around in the paint with adequate size (Graves is willing to but is undersize height wise, Moore is willing to but is undersized weight wise and Russell seems to refuse to/isn't interested in banging on the block). Not everyone comes into a Top 10 program as a 5 star recruit. Players need to be develop (that is the purpose of assistant coaches) you have to find that diamond in a rough (Alberta Auguste, Shannon Bobbit) and work with them/make them stars within your program.

Holly make star? Enough said....

Right now she is better than any 2016 recruit we have locked down. We are normally use to seeing top recruits in the LV uniform, however, we do not normally have zero recruiting years. Emily appears to be a solid three star. Other top programs have recruited three stars and done well with them. Emily has the size and strength to play post as well or better than what we saw from Nia Moore up until this year.

This young lady is very smart, so the Lady Vols may want to bring in a real post coach to work with their post players. It would help to bring in a former post player that played the position well. That is what Texas did. Holly does not have to be the greatest coach but she has to hire a staff that can make her team great. I do not think we have the staff to improve Russell's, or any post we recruit, skill level. I love Dean and think he has served the team well but it is time to bring in a better post coach.

Added to a new post coach, would be hiring an offensive minded coach. I do not think Holly will get the boot, but at least she needs to make changes in her staff.

What is with the Emily crush, I have seen her and trust me she is not that good.

Does anyone know if Schubert and/or Harris have offers from Tennessee?

That's what I would like to know, I keep hearing that there is interest but no word on if we have offered, you would figure someone like Harris would accept (Schubert stock seems to be rising and a lot of other major D1 schools seem to be interested in her now also)

Holly was at MTSU yesterday 3/9/16 watching Murf. Riverdale in the high school state tournament. Sitting with Middletons mom watching Anastasia (point guard ). The best part about her game is she has a freshman sister already playing in the state tournament getting experience!!!!! The roomer is she will be the better player? (Alishia) not sure of spelling..... slready showing understand of the game and a capable ball handler.... She also made 3 pointer & just seemed wise beyond her Freshman age....

She is a junior (Anastacia) and would be a good addition to the Lady Vols.. I will check out Emily Schubert today and see if I can spot any coaches scouting!

Lol!!! You have to be Holly or you are getting paid to post. Holly is the one that recruited all of these players. It should not take an entire season plus the off-season and preseason to learn an offense! It's not that difficult! If Holly addressed the beginning of the season, I sure do not remember. I have no idea what type of Offense they are trying to run and the commentators are just as confused as the fans and evidently the players. You can't honestly say this team move and pass the ball with a purpose. They look confuse and have no idea as to where they suppose to be on the court which leads to players trying to create off the dribble or throwing up a shot in desperation.
