Recruiting info: Kamera Harris

Does anyone know if Schubert and/or Harris have offers from Tennessee?

Its my understanding that Harris does have an offer from Tennessee. Also I was reading and everyone was down playing Harris. Harris has offers from Oregon State, Wisconson, had some interest from UCONN, Houston, Georgia Tech, Iowa State, MTSU, and Texas to name a few. Her upside looks pretty good.

If either lady can just score the basketball at an effiencent, consistent clip, sign em up...regardless of ranking!

The players being recruited by HW are "leftovers." They're still available because the elite programs weren't interested. Tennessee has fallen to that level.

Leftovers?! This kid turned down a lot of schools! The reason why she didn't sign early was because she wasn't interested in Oregon State, Mississippi State and other schools it said online. It says she leads the nation in blocks... You know why we got killed to Mississippi State? Because we couldn't defend in the paint... The reason why Kamera Harris isn't going to Mississippi state is probably because they got a freshman that's 6'8. Harris will be a great pick up if we can get her!

Odd statement. TN outscored MSU 22-10 in the paint. MSU's Vivians' scored 30 points most from long range including 5 threes.

Neither of them would be regarded as scorers. They are being recruited for other parts of their game.

Well if she can help erase some of Reynolds's and Carter's poor perimeter defensive mistakes, WITHOUT fouling then bring her aboard! We need a breath of fresh air next year regardless. I can't get excited for next year knowing we have the same players coming back with no one to push them!

Shubert doing very well going against two bigs for Westview. they have 2 fouls each and Schubert has 1. She has a couple assists and I think 3 blocks already.

wow, Westview came back from 10 down in the 4th period and won by 1. first loss of the year for Schubert's team. No State championship for them again this year. They'd won every game except 2, both to Westview in the tourney in the past 2 years.

The twins played like crap for 3/4 of the game and couldn't handle a press defense.

Shubert could only score 7 points against a Westview team that has maybe slightly above average HS posts. I watched the game online and there is no way in the world that this kid can do anything at the SEC level. I don't mean this to be personal but it was a terrible showing if you are supposed to be a major college player.

I was at the game at MTSU.......Shubert can run the court...she moves to block penetration and blocks shots! She can shoot the 15 footer and make foul shots... She can actually catch the ball when it is thrown to her! Screens without moving and getting fouls called against her..She played within their system and passed well to the other girls when the play was meant to go back outside or down the layne!!! It looked like she was not looking to shoot but did when left open.. but usually passed within their patterns! She is not a top 100 player... I doubt that Nia was either... But I do think there is an upside to her game! Besides..... she is better than our other recruits:)

Maybe she is able to do these things but she didn't today. Westview is not a powerhouse and yet I didn't see her do more than what a 5'10 girl would do. Why wouldn't she take over the game since she was so much bigger than anyone else on the court? There is no way in the world that a team with 2 D1 signees (the twins) and a 6'4" post player who supposedly is good enough to make it in the SEC should let Westview even play close much less win. She only took 3 shots and wasn't even the leading rebounder on her own team.

The game I was watching......The other team had two post that were just as tall as her!!!!! But they out weighed her by 50 to 75 pounds. Mercedes does not move to block shots when UT guards get beat off of the dribble! (Shubert does) She blocked shots and caught the ball after the block and got the break going. You mentioned 5'10" Are you referring to Mercedes bringing the ball down to this size player instead of holding the ball high (like Shubert) when you get the rebound. A 5'10" center would not have blocked the shots that she got to!!
I agree with you that the sisters were disappointing! One of them reminded me of Carter (dribbling while looking down and not knowing where everyone was) But obviously their offense is designed to get the ball to other players and not so much inside....Shubert was always screening at the foul line to get the other girls a shot or run their offense....Shubert did not take over the game as you insinuated she should! I guess she needs to take some tips from how Mercedes does this on UT's games? As I said previously.... she is not a top 100 player! But better than our current recruits:)

Westview's posts are not close to 6'4 however I give up because you guys saw a different game than what I saw.

Sabrina Ionescu
Sabrina Ionescu, the No. 4 prospect in the nation, started with more than 50 scholarship offers and had narrowed her choices down to California and Oregon before the start of the early signing period. But then the 5-foot-10 guard wasn't quite ready to put pen to paper. She has decided to hold off until April, and her coach at Miramonte (Orinda, California) says she'll be worth the wait. "Her style is so smooth," Kelly Sopak said. "It's not a dominating style. She understands momentum and feel and knows where her teammates are and gets them involved. Before you know it, she has 20 points and double-figure assists, and it looks effortless."

Tyasha Harris
Tyasha Harris, a 5-10 point guard and No. 27 prospect in the nation, has led Heritage Christian (Indianapolis) to two straight Indiana state titles. She's athletic, smart, a good shooter and a good passer. It seems as if the only thing Harris hasn't done is decide on a school. And there's a good reason for that. Harris says she has noticed the trend of college players transferring after a year or two, and she's taking the extra steps to make sure that isn't her fate. "I'm very observant," Harris said. "But [the recruiting process] has been hard. It feels like I was a freshman or sophomore a minute ago. High school has gone by so fast."

Victoria Patrick
Victoria Patrick, a sharp shooter from Edgewater (Orlando, Florida) has that special quality that so many coaches are looking for -- the ability to score. The 5-8 guard, who was once pointed toward Xavier, has played against the best the country has to offer on the summer circuit and has shown that she belongs. She has range to the arc and seems to be getting better by the day.

Dorian Sharp
A 6-foot wing from North Pitt (Greenville, North Carolina), Dorian Sharp has another special quality that captivates college coaches -- athleticism. The perimeter prospect has mixed her athletic skills with good size in the backcourt to become a coveted target for Division I coaches all around the country. She's also a quick leaper and a good rebounder.

Arella Guirantes
The No. 98 prospect in the espnW HoopGurlz Top 100 reclassified from 2015 and has found a new home in Bradenton, Florida, at IMG Academy. Arella Guirantes is playing on the IMG postgraduate team and made a statement earlier this month when she single-handedly kept her team in the game against Santa Fe College by dropping 55 points and grabbing 13 rebounds in defeat. Guirantes followed that up with a 33-point outburst against College of Central Florida the next day. The takeaway for college coaches? Guirantes can score -- inside, outside, off the dribble, you name it.

Felicia Aiyeotan could be a true impact player at the next level.
Lawrencia Moten
Remember a fellow by the name of Lawrence Moten? The guy who owns the all-time scoring record at Syracuse? Meet his daughter. Lawrencia Moten is a 6-3 center at the Bullis School (Potomac, Maryland). She's got a long frame, a big wingspan and good mobility. She's expanding her offensive skill set as you read this. She wants to major in journalism, and following her dad's footsteps to Syracuse is her dream. But there's also a strong pull to the Ivy League, and several HBCUs have come calling as well.

Felicia Aiyeotan
A 6-9 (yes, 6 feet, 9 inches) center from Lagos, Nigeria, Felicia Aiyeotan helped lead Neumann & Goretti (Philadelphia) to a 30-0 record and a national title as a junior. She has since transferred to Blair Academy in New Jersey, where she's sure to continue her development. She's a shot-blocking whiz with a rapidly improving offensive game. How's this for a bottom line? She can alter the game on both ends of the floor. She has been heavily pursued by Virginia, Penn State and others and had planned for some time to wait until April to sign. Earlier this fall, Aiyeotan said she considers three questions with each of her candidates: "Where am I going to get the best education? Am I comfortable there? Am I going to play?"

Nari Garner
Let's start with her name. Nari Garner is the daughter of Charlie Garner, who spent 11 years playing running back in the NFL. Now to her game. The 5-7 shooting guard at Freedom (Tampa, Florida) has played against the nation's best and held her own. She's athletic and has deep range on her shot. She complements that range with the ability to penetrate off the dribble. A sleeper to some, Garner, who averaged 10.8 points and 5.7 assists at Freedom as a junior, is starting to look more and more like a sure bet.

Yes, exactly that's why the Lady Vols had Kamera Harris at the game. No more bigs who play like midgets, she knows she has an advantage and she tries to use it.

A guard or wing would be nice too.

You are exactly correct!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They are only 6'3" & 6'2" .... But I have seen high school programs to not be completely correct? However, I can remember playing against players as tall as 7". I can assure you that going into a large person weighing 100 pounds and against one who is approaching 300 pounds is a real difference!

The girls that Shurbert was playing against out weighed her aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaalllllllllllllllllllllllooooooooooooottttttttt....... However her frame is sleek and she would be able to get much stronger with weight training and conditioning .
I do not know why you think the girls playing for Westview are so little and puny ? They did a pretty good tag team wrestling with Shubert! And they won....and admitted after the game that they went over her back and fouled her............but no foul???

AGAIN---SHE IS NOT A 100 RECRUIT!!!!!! But since we have no one committed for 2016! She certainly is better than a ZERO :p

PLAYER ALERT ***AIKIRA LEVY*** (Upperman ) point guard!! HOLLY PLEASE DON'T LET HER LEAVE THE STATE!!
