Recruiting rankings thread

He's talking about in the overall class ranking on rivals... They didn't use to count jucos not sure if that's still the case.

I'm pretty sure they count them. You just don't get the bonus points for their ranking like you would with a highly ranked high school kid.

I found this from Rivals

"Junior college prospects are not ranked with the high school players like they were in the old Rivals.com rankings. However, the junior college players are ranked numerically with the other junior college prospects in order from one to 50 at this point. They are also ranked by stars and do count in the team rankings – so teams that do recruit heavily on the junior college level will get rewarded for landing quality players just like they would with high school prospects."

If this is the case why then when we sign a 4 star JUCO we jump 3 or 4 spots if they dont count, why do we jump in the rankings.

I think ESPN has actually ranked them the last couple of years, they just do so very late in process.

They might now they didnt a couple of years ago, i dont watch ESPN recruiting show like i did a few years back, i got tired of hearing every year Bamas class WAS THE GREATEST EVERY.

It says they do count in the post you quoted. What it was saying is JuCo players are not rated with the high school players like they used to be.

Can some one please pass this along. Titus Tucker at West Caldwell high in North Carolina. Can throw and run... 6'3"....reminds me of Heath Shuler

When T commits Friday we will have the 4th and 58th players in the class of 17, so i would say we will have a top 3 class when is all said and done, but we better finish the 1 6 class of on a high note first.
