Correct but the only problem is that just about all 20 have to be 4 and 5 * guys to get into the top 5. We will have a few 3* in that twenty. To finish 10th in Rivals and the rest would be a great haul this year.

I think Stoops decided to get a class fast, and give time to recruit if we get any decommits. He'll probably save some spots for the high ranked targets that wont choose for a long time.

Remember last years class after we put a azz kicking on them 3 or 4 of there top commits went elsewhere, the same azz kicking will be there again this year and 4 or 5 will move on.:)

I expect us to stay right around that mark come NSD. We might jump up or down a few spots throughout the season but we should hang around the #15. Just too few spots open to get the numbers necessary for a Top 10 class unless we sneak in and land a couple huge 5 stars, like Derrick Green. Not saying it won't happen. But currently it seems like #15 is the most likely destination.

and that's just where we might finish when it's all said and done. I said a while back that I thought we'd finish just outside the top 10 in recruiting this year because of the numbers. However we'll fill key needs will quality players. 2017 will be a monster class!

I think we add a couple of 5 stars and a couple of our current commits will get bumped to 4 star. I'm hoping we end up in the 10-12 range.

Doug Mathews thinks that things will be very fluid this year and we will end up with a handful of very highly ranked players because we can afford to be choosy this year.

So don't count us out of the top 10 yet.

CFA, Okonya, Madshall, and Hart are all 5.7. There's a good chance they will all get fourth stars with good senior seasons. I'm not a star gazer, but maybe that will make those who are feel better.

Just fill our needs with talent with this class, and fire back with a top 5 recruiting class in 17 and we are on our way of being elite year every year.

I would hope to see us move up due to the fact that Rivals bases their rankings ONLY on the 20 highest ranked players for each class. So assuming that we sign a minimum of 20, we'll be on an even playing field with everyone else.

Side note - one concern I have is that we currently have two 5.5 3*s and one 5.6 3* committed. IMO we need to be more selective because of the smaller class size. I know you can't look solely at stars, but bottom line is that we need to maximize the caliber of players we bring in for 2016 because of the lower numbers.

JMO, in Butch I trust.. GBO !

I don't see Banks signing with us. I'm not even sure they have really evaluated Henderson, and Pope will most likely get a bump. He had a very good summer.
