How can this not be a recruiting violation? ESPN should not be promoting one school over another. It is giving a team basically the upper hand on all other programs in recruiting. ESPN is recruiting for Alabama. Any insight on how NCAA allows this? Well it is the NCAA..

Funny thing is, if this was a GBO commercial instead of the Roll Tide, you would still say ESPN is picking on you because it portrays us in a stereotypical redneck way. Waaa if you do, Waaaa if you don't.

This might be the most retarded thread in the history of the recruiting forum. This isn't the general election.

Jesus, our fan base whines about more stupid crap than anyone.

What the hell are you talking about?
ESPN is promoting or showing preference to one school over others to promote their company. That is what I’m talking about.

Who is whinning? I'm asking a question? Isn't that what this forum is about? Thought maybe some of our recruiting guru's or NCCA rule guys knew how ESPN can do it and NCAA not have a issue with it.

Well in that case is the Pat Summitt Sportscenter commercial showing off all of her National Championships favoring us?

Fine, they don't have an issue with it because it isn't an issue.

What's worse? This or the Wilcox threads? Jeez. So I guess the College Gameday with Saban's debbie cake, or the crew wearing Ohio State gear?

The only thing I thought about when I saw the commercial was when the dad turned on the light. He must have not wanted sloppy seconds from his daughter that night. That and they suck

NCAA has no dominion or authority over ESPN and UA doesn't control ESPN. Only reason they can dictate terms/rules to schools is that the schools choose to belong to the NCAA. ESPN doesn't.

I feel sorry for Capital One and the Mascot Challenge. Have a feeling the NCAA is going to drop the hammer on them and ban the traveling Vikings from airing for at least a year.
