What? You mean the Idaho Vandals aren't getting equal time?

I know you're being sarcastic but that was where I was going with my question. Not so much that TN wasn't get face time on the ESPN networks because we have had some, but other schools like Maryland, GA Tech, UCF, etc. type schools that wasn't getting face time. Wondering if they thought they were being put at a disadvantage.

How can this not be a recruiting violation? ESPN should not be promoting one school over another. It is giving a team basically the upper hand on all other programs in recruiting. ESPN is recruiting for Alabama. Any insight on how NCAA allows this? Well it is the NCAA..

Funny. They had a Rocky Top commercial and our fans whined so much they pulled it.

How dare you compare Georgia Tech to Maryland and UCF....

Who is whinning? I'm asking a question? Isn't that what this forum is about? Thought maybe some of our recruiting guru's or NCCA rule guys knew how ESPN can do it and NCAA not have a issue with it.

That would be you.

point being that it's not a big deal IMO. obviously bama has had a bunch of success the last few years so they're naturally going to be in the limelight. just something that comes with the territory, especially in this day in age when the media is so involved.

This might be the most retarded thread in the history of the recruiting forum. This isn't the general election.

Jesus, our fan base whines about more stupid crap than anyone.

If you don't want to read this stupid crap don't click on it

What the hell are you talking about?
ESPN is promoting or showing preference to one school over others to promote their company. That is what I’m talking about.

Silly Manvol, maybe you havent been on volnation for a while but it has become quite evident that any opinion other than emainvol and wounded mullets, is silly and a waste of bandwidth.

Hey Man, I don't know what's up with the idiots tonight, but espn televises sports, and all recruits watch espn, and if bammer is shown above other schools in a positive light (which in this case it is) then yes it is a recruiting advantage. Free Publicity. Ask former coach Kiffin what a little extra pub is worth; he went the outrageous route to accomplish that very thing, then proceeded to sign a top 10 class. Showing the bama spring game live on espn is also an advantage. Doing a special all access on bama's football team is an advantage. You couldn't afford to purchase that amount of TV time. Any "Vol fan" that doesn't get that is sorely lacking in the cranial department.

I don't think the fact that it is an advantage is what is in dispute with the OP.

Exercise your superior cranial department and see what is being disputed.

A recruiting advantage is not necessarily an NCAA violation.
