I liked these Arkansas chrome helmets they wore in the Liberty Bowl --- a Silver chrome with the current decals would look good as a Vols alt

33. UT orange is roughly the same shade of orange people use for concept art for mech designs and such, also use white, and grey. ( I should know :biggrin: ) It's a better/better composed design than I usually see. Back to my first point, this looks very mech. I like it in a every once and a while way.

Go Vols 247 just posted this article showing helmet redesigns for many of college football's power programs. Tennessee's redesign is basically the same as the traditional helmet, except with a black and orange checkerboard stripe. IMO, it's pretty awesome looking.

(Tried to directly like to UT, but you might need to scroll a few helmets through to get to Tennessee.)

I'm not normally too big on changing things up with uniforms, but I'd be 100% happy to see our Vols wearing these helmets.

Not big on the checkerboard stripe. Solid orange would be better IMO

I'm inclined to think the term "Smashmouth Football" is somehow associated with this type of headgear, or lack thereof.

34. If this is just a one game helmet we are talking about then I would keep the helmet as is but replace the Power T with the alternate logos like the guy holding the gun or the old school VOLS with lines thru it. JMO

Most of them were ugly but they really nailed the UNC helmet. That one's perfect.
