Regardless what you think of Kiffin, he’s absolutely right…

about these other leagues compared to the SEC. It’s an joke.

Yes, I say this knowing there isn’t a super team in this league either, but the depth is far superior and going on the road is so much more difficult.
Even if he is right. If someone doesn’t perform well in the SEC I don’t want them in.

I want good classic matches ups that are cross conference.

I want to see Tennessee vs ND, Penn State, Oregon, Boise State, etc etc in the playoffs. I want fun matches I can talk about that don’t happen very often 30 years from now.

If we were 3 or 4 losses idc how good we actually are. We wouldn’t really deserve to be in.

And this is coming from a guy who has watched us be bad my entire life just about.

He is not wrong, teams like SMU who's big win is BYU is getting exposed by Clemson who just got beat by South Carolina and blown out by Georgia. Penn State has 0 top 25 wins and is getting exposed by Oregon. Decent teams beating a bunch of bad teams then get blown out when they get a solid team. Penn State, Indiana, Notre Dame, SMU, Boise, etc. are getting into the playoffs because of weak schedules, not because they are great teams. Those teams would have 2-3 conference losses or more in the SEC.

Lane Kiffin is a urine stain on Satan’s underwear (and that’s an insult to Satan). His words carry ZERO credibility. That d-bag can get bent.

He’s not wrong. Problem is, he has no credibility. Until he actually accomplishes something, people will not put much stock into what he says. Even if he is correct.

SEC teams have better talent to recruit from. We have an advantage, so I don't think it's wrong that in cases where the W-L and eyeballl test go against the SEC team that the SEC team doesn't get the benefit of the doubt. Admittedly this is all a case by case situation.

In no way did a 9-3 team get screwed. 10-2 isn't too much to ask for if you're playoff caliber.

Our middle of the pack (LSU / Missouri, Vandy) teams would run a lot of these conferences. I think 6 SEC teams beat all four of the Big 10 teams.

The good news is we get to find out. All SEC final means were way ahead of the others.
