Reilly puts Notre Dame on blast

Kelley said what he said to appease the folks who, like the fairytale believers that we have following our program, think that there's one certain way to do things. Should he tone it down a little? Sure. But there's no denying the guy has been pretty damn successful.

Dooley doesn't get on players, he lays them on Kingston Pike and runs the bus over them. Anything to make himself look better. But hey, when you've failed miserably as a head man you gotta do what you gotta do.

Brian Kelly runs his player over more than Dooley does in the media, and I thought that was not possible.

Did anyone see Mike Golic's response to this article? That guys is an idiot. The whole reason Notre Dame gets the hype they do is because of people like him abusing their positions to pump up a school that is no better than a Marshall.

No it's not.

That's debatable. Having a modicum of success gives him the edge, though.

There is no doubt he is a WAY better coach. But he runs his players over just as bad as Dooley. He has said some pretty bad things about the guys that HE didn't recruit.

Wasn't this thread started because somebody in the limelight talked negatively about them...?

Ah thats so clever, I see what you tried to do there. The negativity is warranted however. The favoritism is unwarranted.

For those saying "bout time", you realize we've been seeing this same article for over a decade now, right?

As I said in the other Notre Dame thread, Brian Kelly sent a kid into a tower that was exposed to 30 mph winds. The kid fell 60 feet to his death. The University is of course denying any fault.
