Remaining 2007 Recruiting Board

The fact that we don't have a kicker for next year (at least a highly recruited one) worries me. We would have lost sooo many games w/o wilhoit. I think it's worth the scholly.

oh yah. Why didn't those guys you were talking about get moved up? Coleman is the only one who jumped from 3 to 4 star.

They've only updated the top 250, WRs, RBs, and QBs. They have the rest of the positions, JUCO, and prep left.

O, and it wouldn't be worth the scholly. We signed 2 last year. There is no telling if another would pan out any better. 4 kickers on scholly is way too much.

Willingham could possibly be getting a fifth star, though I doubt they will give it to him. I expect a 5.9 or 6.0 4 star from him.

Frazier will move up to 3 I believe.

I'm not really sure about the others, but I think these MIGHT have a possibility:

Barnes to 4,
Brimfield to 4,
and based on Rufus's tape, I could see him getting a 4th, but I doubt it.

Yeah, JC said Willingham is at least 6.0, but we will see. I really doubt anyone jumps other than Willingham, Frazier, and some uncommitted prospects.

He's a big corner with excellent speed. Sounds pretty good. Further than that, I don't know much about him, except he is suppose to be good! I've not seen a tape or etc..

Would ya'll quit crying about commits visiting? They will visit, but, most likely, nothing will come of it.

Willingham is pretty solid.

I know but every time a commit says they may visit somewhere else, the board goes into shock. 95% of the time it is no big deal.

90-95% of the guys who go visit just want to get out and travel...it really doesn't mean anything to them but they better not let that team know. I remember when Shaun Respert took a trip to UF just to take it and they tried to get him in some kind of trouble down there.

HV, so, with less than 2 weeks until signing day, could you label each of these players as "Fo sho!", probable, unlikely, no chance and toss up?

Marvin Austin
Dwight Jones
Ahmad Paige
Michael McNeil
Nevin McKenzie
Markish Jones
Stefan Francois
Sidell Corley
Rae Sykes

I think if that group, we land 3. I also don't know a lot.

Marvin Austin-weird one here, I'd say either "Fo sho!" or no chance, so tossup
Dwight Jones-somewhere between probable and unlikely, again, tossup
Ahmad Paige-unlikely
Michael McNeil-no chance
Nevin McKenzie-"Fo sho!"
Markish Jones-unlikely(though I've not read an update on his visit)
Stefoin Francois-no chance
Sidell Corley-no chance
Rae Sykes-tossup

I'd say if we can land Jones and McKenzie from that list plus Moore and Creer, we finished pretty strong. Anything else would be icing. Sykes and Hall are still sign and place.

Now UT needs to get Jones, Creer, and Moore. That would be a wicked class, but lets just hope that all of the letters-of-intent get faxed in on signing day

I think it was Saturday's paper that had an article about Hall. Hall said it was a question of not going to class not smarts that got him in trouble. Now that he is going to class he has brought the grades up and if nothing changes he will be eligible. It may come down to if we have a scholly available for him.
