I have not been able to keep up with all of the names on here, so can someone help me with why these kids aren't signed yet. I know that we at one time had Broussard and Harris committed but that we lost them and I for the life of me can't remember why. Please don't flame, just wanted to get all this in one place.

Risean Broussard, 6'2"/289/***
Pat Harris, 6'5"/295/***
Churphy Steward, 6'2"/278/*** (Has an offer from LaTech)
Justin Niutapuai, 6'0"/300/***
Venson Joness, 6'2"/326/**
Wayne Carter, 6'0"/317/**
Hayden Stanton, 6'2"/265/**

BTW, Rivals has all of them listed as having interest in us.

Thanks and don't flame because I couldn't find info on the first two.

It would be really nice if we could pick up two of these guys. Our D line depth is scary to say the least.
A power running game would eat us up in the 4th quarter of games.

Do you think Pat Harris may be signed a little later if the staff feels he can qualify this semester? He is who we need. Broussard is also a guy we could use. He was supposed to go to LA Tech because he could not get in to UT.

Give me Glass and Steward and the only qualms I had about this class (OL/DT #'s) are gone

Broussard doesn't have an offer from us. Idk why though? Anybody? Anyone know what happened to terry vaughn the 4* juco? I think that's his name.

It looks like we have had interest at some point for each.

DT - Justin Niutapui - 6'300 lb dt - Impressive group of teams looking at him.
DT - Rashaun Smith - 6'260 lb - His film has him playing LB but you can tell he isn't athletic enough to stay there. I think this guy could easily add 20 lbs and become a DT

OT - Chuckie Curry - JUCO OT still out there it looks like
OG - Glass- Big ole guard prospect

Is Glass's 40 time correct at 5.8s. Thats slow even for a lineman in the SEC.

If that is true we don't need him at guard. When he pulls out to block on toss sweeps he would slow down Bryce Brown. He could clog up the middle on defense and our linebackers clean up the mess.:good!:

You can build on Glass's speed, as well as Dak Smiths strength. Take these guys while they are still available. We've already got a top 10 class let's get some more big uglies or were going to be dead come the 3rd quarter of every game.

You have to wonder why two staffs have passed on Glass though. Just taking someone because we can isn't helping us any. We need those that can contribute or to save that scholarship for a better player next year. Glass is at best a project that will not be ready for a while. You may be able to get a better prospect next year that could contribute immediately.

We need one of these DTs BAD!!

Who else is on the roster at DT other than Hughes and Walls? Are Chase Nelson and Victor Thomas still on the team? Either way we need bodies at DT!

Glass signed with Trinity Valley CC. There must have been some grade issues.

Go get Dak Smith!!!

I think we will be ok this coming year. I wouldn't be surprised when the numbers appeared to be close that we might have told a few players to come to Tennessee as a walk-on. I mean the lack of depth was just way to obvious so I have to think something is up.
